Larry daley (Ben stiller) doesn't seem to be having much of a good life. His wife divorced him, found a broker, was about to remarry, and his own position in his son's mind was at stake.In order to save his life and secure custody of his son, Dali had to give up his dream of "doing big things" and become a night guard at New York's museum of natural history.Dali thought this is a boring job, who knew that the first day of work, magical things happen: pharaoh gold medal in the museum have magic, when the night comes, pavilions all specimen alive, chasing bones of tyrannosaurus rex, disruptive monkey, the tyranny of the king of the huns, simulated flight caveman... It's all over the place. With the help of Teddy Roosevelt, the 26th President, daley managed to get the situation under control, but he immediately ran into new trouble: the idea of someone trying to play farage gold.
