Ten years after the jedi's victory over the sith's apprentice, the galactic republic is once again under threat, with the former jedi knight count duku (Christopher Lee) encouraging thousands of galaxies to break away from the republic and setting up an army of robots to prepare for a coup. Senator amidala (Natalie Portman) of naboo arrives in calooskan as an mp, determined to cast a key vote in the formation of the republican army. Obi-wan kenobi (Ewan McGregor) and his adult anakin (Hayden Christensen) are tasked with keeping amidala safe.
