Maria (Julie Andrews) is a young and lively nun who likes to sing loudly in nature, so she often forgets the rules of the convent. The prioress did not believe that maria belonged to a strict monastery. The colonel's wife died many years ago, leaving seven children, and he demanded strict discipline.
