Michael (Liam Neeson), Harry (Aidan Quinn) and Iman (Alan Rickman) are brothers in arms who form the Irish Volunteers, a group whose strength and determination are feared by the British Empire.During a speech, Michael meets a woman named Katie (Julia Roberts), who attracts both him and Harry with her heroic and heroic presence, and the friendship between the two men grows bitter.
