This is a film about growing up and rebelling. Tracy (Evan Rachel Wood), a 13-year-old girl who grew up in a single-parent family, has always been a role model for her school and the pride of her mother Maraney (Holly Hunter). However, all this changed when Tracy entered middle school. Tracy's high school classmate Ivy (Nikki Reed) is the focus of the school. She is dressed in sexy clothes and hot body, and Tracy realizes that Ivy is her role model. She hung out with Ivy and learned to drink and take drugs. The change between the darling female that faces him suddenly, Malan Ni feels incomprehensible, because lack effective communication, mother and daughter two broke out a series of irreconcilable conflict. Will Tracy finally make it through this growing hurdle?
