Marla (Evan Rachel Wood) and her partner Thain (Justin Long) meet a battleship on earth during a gliding game. The good Tyros think gods have come, but they are captured, including Marla's father. Marla leads a human fighter into a wind tunnel in a ski boat, but he kindly saves Lieutenant Jim (Luke Wilson) and the robot Kitty (David Cross).
