Carlos Galindo (Demian Bichir) is an undocumented man who smuggles himself from Mexico to the United States. His wife had already left him, and now he and his 14-year-old son, Luis Galindo, were living together. His son was discriminated against and bullied by his classmates because of his special status at school, but he always kept silent to his father's questions, and the estrangement between the two grew deeper and deeper. Carlos worked hard on ping orders to make money so he and his son could have a better life. One of his gardeners, on a regular basis, MOWS lawns for all sorts of wealthy americans. His boss wanted to go home and sold his used trucks and tools for gardeners. Hoping to transfer more money, Carlos borrowed money from his sister to buy a used truck and tools for a gardener that had been abandoned. But one day, Carlos's old truck was stolen by Santiago (Carlos Linares), a neighborhood gangster. In his anxiety, the father and son were frank for the first time and restored their old relationship. Father and son set off on the road to find a car...
