Set in 1953, shortly after the end of World War II, the drama is a classic drama produced by plus7 in Australia. With the aftermath of the war still burning, Sarah Adams, an elegant and mysterious nurse, decides to return to her hometown to take care of her grieving mother after she learns of her brother's death.On the ship back home, she meets the upper-class Bligh family, and because of her unique charm, she gains the admiration of George Bligh (the head of the family) and inadvertently prevents the heir of the Bligh family from committing suicide, thus coming into contact with some of the family's unknown secrets.Because of her conflicting beliefs, Sarah is not accepted by her mother, and in a desperate situation Sarah decides to accept George Bligh's offer of a job at the hospital, but the Bligh family's old lady takes a hard time with Sarah's "rudeness" on the previous ship, and with the secrets she's spied on. ....
