Josh's (Kevin Zegers) mother Jackie (Chilton Crane) and her boyfriend Patrick (Dale Midkiff) are about to get married when Buddy, a quiet golden retriever, goes off the rails and messes up the wedding. After a lot of confusion, the shocked crowd realized that the golden retriever in front of them was not Buddy, but another retriever, Judy, who had a very similar look to Buddy.Buddy and Judy saw eye to eye, and it wasn't long before Judy gave birth to a few pups and became a mother.
