When John Gordon (Ward Horton) and Mia (Annabelle Wallis) give birth to a new life together, they are both happy and worried. That night, John found annabel, the doll his wife had been looking for. Meanwhile, a brutal murder happened in Peter's house next door. Several dehumanized men and women of the cult break into Gordon's home and try to massacre them. Though the Gordons survived, one of the women died holding Annabel. After this, the nervous Mia stays at home to have a baby. She tries to get out of the shadows, but one strange thing after another happens at home.
