Fink (Reece Daniel Thompson) wants to join the school newspaper to fulfill his dream of becoming a reporter, but his classmates are making fun of his embarrassing events in his second year of high school. Fortunately, Clara, the editor of the school newspaper, gives him a chance to prove himself -- to write an article about Paul, the President of the student union. For this, fink endures the classmate's ridicule and principal (Bruce Willis ) roll call, in investigating. Meanwhile, Paul's girlfriend Francesca (Mischa Barton) asks him to help her find the missing SAT. As a result, fink finds out that it was Paul who stole the test, and he is so impressed by the article that not only Clara wants to give him a letter of recommendation from northwestern university, but Francesca also offers to be friendly, and the two start a formal relationship. It's hard for fink to cope with the unexpected happiness. While he is enjoying his passionate love, it turns out that Paul is wronged. The real threat has only just begun when fink finds himself an accomplice in the ring...
