The story takes place in Banshee, Pennsylvania, where Lucas (Antony Starr), a former con artist and high-flying robber, takes over the role of Banshee's sheriff and replaces him as the local law enforcement officer. Brock (Matt Soweto), the town's longest-serving police officer, has a shot at becoming a sheriff when Lucas arrives to threaten his position. Lucas discovers that his former lover Carrie (Ivana Milicevic) has changed her name to live in a small town and is married to the local prosecutor. On the one hand, Lucas USES his new legal identity to continue to commit crimes in secret. On the other hand, Mr. Rabbit (Ben Cross), a ruthless Ukrainian gangster, has been tracking Down Lucas and Carrie for 15 years. But everything changed when Lucas entered Banshee.
