Two Italian-American brothers, Pimer (Stanley Tucci) and Scondo (Tony Shalhoub), open an Italian restaurant in New Jersey. They harbor aspirations of the American Dream and hope to achieve wealth and success by opening the restaurant and attracting customers. However, despite their ambitions to run the business, the two brothers face a lukewarm reception from customers. Watching other restaurants thrive while their own is in danger of closing, the brothers begin to do everything they can to save their business.They decide to attract more customers with a glamorous dinner party, and go to great lengths to invite celebrities to participate. The plan seems perfect, but on the day of the party, accidents happen one after another.
