Adapted from Si Spencer's ingenious graphic novel, the same body is found in Henson Lane in London's East End in 1890, 1941, 2023 and 2053, and in each period a detective must investigate. As the decades become more closely linked, the detectives soon realize that their investigations are interconnected, and a mysterious political leader, Elias Mannis (Stephen Graham), becomes increasingly important. Is he involved in the murder? Or is something more sinister at work? To solve the mystery, our four detectives must somehow work together to uncover a conspiracy that spans more than 150 years.
