The world of the play is set in the common human and anthropomorphic animals live together, except appearance, these animals are not different from human. Bojack (voiced by Will Arnett) is a middle-aged horse who once starred in the hit TV show "the horsing pony" when he was young. To get back on his game, bojack decides to publish an autobiography at the urging of his agent and ex-girlfriend, princess Caroline (Amy Sedaris), in hopes of returning to the public eye. But because bojack is too slow to write, the publisher introduces him to a gunslingwriter, Diane (voiced by Alison Brie). Jack repeatedly refused, and finally, at a party, he and Diane met, only to find that she is his Nemesis Mr. Peanut butter girlfriend...
