Dorian Gray (Ben Barnes) travels from the countryside to London, where he meets famous painter Basil (Ben Chaplin) and gentleman Henry (Colin Firth), who introduce him to the world of celebrity. Basil used him as a mannequin, and drew a detailed, lifelike portrait of his half body, which immediately aroused the surprise and admiration of the social circle. From then on, Gray entered vanity Fair and lived a colorful life every day. A chance, he fell in love with Cecilia, a small theater actress, the two fell in love at first sight, secretly for life. When Henry heard that Gray was going to get married, he began to persuade him not to believe in marriage but to enjoy it. Gray is shocked and chagrin when her pregnant body is found in the river, but he can't help it. Gray went completely astray, repeatedly drugging himself with women, alcohol and even drugs.
