For thousands of years, the vikings of bork, a cold northern European island, have waged a vicious and never-ending war against the various dragon clans. With hicap (Jay Baruchel) and the lovely toothless encounter, things start to change. The islanders try to make peace with the big guys, but some of them can't stand the "random" life of the dragon, so they decide to break the truce and drive the dragon out of bork. Hickup doesn't want to see a repeat of the nightmare, so he decides to start a dragon training school with friends such as astrid (America Ferrera), fish legs, and twins to educate and train them.
