Frankenstein (Colin Clive) is a genius scientist who wants to create life like God, so he leaves the university, despite the objections of his professors at the school, and goes to an old castle in the mountains with his assistant to experiment on human beings. He finds various human limbs from places like cemeteries and steals a brain from the school's lab and uses these to create a human body. His fiancée, Eliza White (Mae Clarke), out of concern, goes with her best friend (John Boles) and a professor from the school to the old castle lab to find Frankenstein. It is on this stormy night that Frankenstein's human experiment is completed - he uses lightning to bring the body on the operating table to life. A few days later, however, the monster created by the scientist began to go uncontrollable; he first killed the scientist's assistant and then began to attack the professor and the scientist.So the physically and mentally exhausted scientist is picked up and taken home and begins to plan the wedding while the monster is left for the professor to deal with. But the monster kills the professor, escapes from the lab bench, steps closer to the village, and drowns a little girl. Frankenstein, who is in the middle of his wedding, is oblivious to this...
