In order to remember the good old days, Lenny (Adam Sandler) and his wife Roxy (Salma Hayek) take their children and return with their friends to the quiet town where they used to live, only to arrive at their destination and realise that the town is no longer what he remembers it to be.As a series of twists and turns ensue, Lenny and his friends are hit with a series of blows, including the appearance of a maniacal moose, the inexplicable police officer Fruzzo (Shaquille O'Neal), and up-and-comer Andy (Taylor Lautner), all of which signify that Lenny and his friends are no longer the masters of the town that they once were.
