It's Christmas once a year. The family is out on Christmas break when things go wrong and the youngest member, 8-year-old Kevin (Macaulay Culkin), is left behind. Rarely home alone, Kevin has turned his home into a playground.Two newly released burglars set their sights on Kevin's house.
