After an unbelievable turn of events in the last episode, Dalton (Ty Simpkins), the eldest son of the lime potters, is temporarily free from evil spirits, while elis (Lin Shaye), the psychic medium, is in the death chamber, while Dalton's father, josh (Patrick Wilson), is suspected of murder. As the police continue to investigate their home, josh is forced to take his wife, lanny (Rose Byrne), and three children back to their mother, laurel (Barbara Hershey). I thought everything was back to normal, but lanny and the children still seem to be suffering from evil spirits.Lauren realizes the gravity of the situation and brings in Carl (Steve Coulter), the psychic next to Elise, to try to get things back to normal, but things go in an unpredictable direction...
