Georgiya (Queen Latifah) is a black woman who works at a restaurant and kitchen chain in New Orleans. She is an optimistic underclass woman who dreams up the possibilities. She loves food and has a secret crush on a male colleague, but for a variety of reasons none of this comes to pass. One day, an accident changes Georgiya's life. During a routine check-up at the hospital, she is diagnosed with a terminal disease called "Blue syndrome" and has only about three weeks to live. Desperate and determined to enjoy her last moments, Giorgia quits her job, draws out all her savings and flies to Europe in order to sample the skills of celebrity chef DeDedieu (Gerard Depardieu), whom she has long admired. During that time, she stayed in the expensive presidential suite, went skiing, went SPA and traveled in high society. Her personality speech and style of life attracted the attention of celebrities...
