Like any fifth-grader, Gabe (Josh Hutcherson) is a 10-year-old New York City boy with a problem of his own. First, my parents were divorcing, but by American law they were still living under the same roof. Second, Gabe always thought that girls his age were one of the most terrifying creatures in the world. He thought that if he was touched by girls, he would get lice. He even believed that bad luck would happen if he was touched by girls. But as fate would have it, he falls in love with Rosemary (Charlie Ray), his classmate and partner assigned to him.
