On mother's day, different mothers have different lives. Sandy (aniston) was happily divorced until she discovered that her ex-husband had eloped with a much younger woman. Now she must learn to deal with the big changes in her life, because her two sons now have a stepmother. Sister Jessie (Hudson) and Gabi(Chalke) get an unexpected surprise, their mother is not happy to find Gabi is gay, and Jesse is married to a person of color. Miranda (Roberts) is childless and focused on her career. Kristen (Robertson) is enjoying life as a new mom, but she feels pressure from her boyfriend to get married.
