In 1938, inmate Henry (Kevin Bacon) attempted to escape from the notorious Alcatraz Prison but ultimately failed. Warden Glenn, consumed by hatred for Henry who threatened his authority, threw him into a sealed dungeon for three years, subjecting him to countless beatings. When Henry finally escaped the dungeon, his first act was to kill the inmate who betrayed him with a spoon, leading to a charge of first-degree murder.
