Thanks to his work as a guard at New York's natural history museum, larry (Ben Stiller) is CEO of a small appliance company, and he is interviewed on TV by a famous talk show host. But when he returned, he was surprised to find that the curator had updated the exhibition and was ready to move the outdated exhibits to the smithsonian museum in Washington. This angered larry, who felt he had a responsibility to revive the museum's grandeur, so he decided to stay and work as a guard for another night to evoke the joint efforts of old friends. In fact, after dealing with the likes of Roosevelt (Robin Williams), Lincoln, napoleon, Ivan the terrible and al capone, and his Nemesis, the evil pharaohs of ancient Egypt, Carmen, the two of them had another night of museum horror...
