A boy from Nottingham, Tomo (Thomas Turgoose) came to London alone, but was robbed. The homeless Tomo meets Marco (Piotr Jagiello), a Polish immigrant of the same age who loves to take photos, and finally finds a temporary place to stay. Marc's dad works during the day, and during this time the two friends wander around helping Tomo steal clothes, chatting and joking with Maria (Ireneusz Czop), marc's favorite cafe girl, or making a few bucks from graham (Perry Benson), the well-meaning grocer. Life is boring and carefree. Of course, Marc's father didn't know anything about it until he came home one day and saw two friends fighting...
