In the coming year, an outbreak of a deadly virus will kill more than half of the world's population. The vast ocean seems to be a realm where viruses can't even reach, and Captain Tom Candler's (Eric Dane) Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer, the Nathan James, is Noah's Ark, drifting aimlessly after punishment and waiting for pardon. In order to preserve his life power and ensure that the two virologists on board develop an antidote, Captain Candler defied the call of the U.S. Provisional Government and took his crew on a long journey. Along the way, however, they have to dock at ports and on land for supplies and vaccines, and other ships try to snatch the antidote. Worse still, despair and panic spread among the crew. Can't see the future of the journey, when is the end...
