Howard (Julian Barratt) and Vince (Noel Fielding) are buddies and keepers at a failing zoo; Vince has a head of hair that's exaggeratedly beautiful and a love of funky things and techno music, while Howard is more pragmatic but also more prone to danger. Howard is more pragmatic, but also more prone to danger. Although set in a small zoo, they are often involved in fantastic adventures, including boxing matches with kangaroos, rescuing mutants from the zoo's secret underground lab, and other adventures in places ranging from the Hell of Death to the Arctic tundra.
