Set in Edinburgh, this drama follows Carl, a hard-working family man who comes under fire after it is revealed on the internet that he is actually a notorious child murderer whose current identity is nothing more than a fake new one. With his original life collapsing because of this incident, should Carl hold his tongue and wait for the wind to pass? Or should he prove his innocence? Is he being vilified and misunderstood or is he really the dangerous killer that people suspect him to be? On the other hand, Anna's son was murdered at the age of 20 by a 14-year-old boy, and after being told of the killer's new identity and new whereabouts, she conspires to murder him by exposing his new identity in an online accusation. Will a grieving mother's anger push her into the path of a murderer? And what is her crime? And what can she do for her son?
