A cold male voice brought the beginning of the story. Adolescence is the last hurdle for the five cardamom daughters of the Lisbon family. The first to commit suicide is the youngest daughter, Cecilia (Hanna r. Hall). She became weak and wanted to end her life for no obvious reason. The parents thought that letting her socialize with the boy would improve the situation. However, Cecilia chose to say goodbye to life.The boy's frequent and indulgent companion is another daughter, lux (Kirsten Dunst). Lux knew playboy tripp, and he had sex, but was eventually tripp abandoned. Lisbon's parents, fearful of losing their daughter again, lost their reason. They trapped their four daughters in the house, giving them the best possible protection. Yet the tragedy of suicide, like an epidemic, spreads fast.
