Why is that? What went wrong with the intelligence system that led to this tragedy? How did the top decisions of the three administrations in the war on terror lead to today's situation? The series features interviews with a variety of interviewees, including U.S. presidential administration officials, former CIA members, U.S. veterans and Afghan National Army soldiers, Taliban commanders, members of the Afghan government, Afghan warlords, and Afghan civilians -- many who have never spoken on camera before. The series will also focus on the voices of survivors of the attack themselves. The five-part documentary is an important and illuminating chronicle of the attacks and how they changed the course of history.
