Based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, this groundbreaking limited series tells the story of Marie-Laure, a blind French girl, and her father, Daniel LeBlanc: they flee German-occupied Paris with a legendary diamond, lest it fall into Nazi hands. A brutal Gestapo officer tries to take possession of the jewel for his own selfish reasons. Marie-Laure and Daniel soon find refuge in St. Malo, where they stay with a reclusive uncle who throws himself into the Resistance and sends secret messages by radio.
