Fresh off a bad weekend of family gatherings, a physically and mentally exhausted Ray Monroe (Sam Worthington) drives his wife Joanne (Lily Rabe) and daughter Perry (Lucy Capri) home. Halfway there they land at some rest area when a vicious dog charges out, sparking tragedy in the Monroe household.
