Based on the best-selling book Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI by David Grann, the movie focuses on the 1920s in Oklahoma, USA, where the "Osage Indian Murders" (Osage Indian Murders) are taking place. The Osage Indians had been earning huge sums of money from the discovery of oil on their native land, and a series of murders were planned to stop the arrangement, shocking the nation with the killing of 60 people in four years.
