The Comedy Channel's new series Moonlight City depicts handsome but dimwitted detective Dazzle Novak (Rob Lowe) as he tries to sweep the streets clean with the help of policewoman Chrysalis Tate (Kate Mara), but nothing goes his way - especially when he meets nemesis Rad Cunningham (Will Forte).Dazzle overreaches for idealism and ends up ...... committing more crimes himself than most criminals do. To make matters worse, his nemesis Rad is on his tail at all times and could completely destroy him at any moment.Dazzle has a sexy but unusually bossy female boss, Pizzaz Miller (Elizabeth Banks). Fortunately, the city has at least one other competent cop in Chrysalis, an animated series that mixes many of the hallmarks of 1980s crime dramas: absurdism, realism, violence, and a sense of humor.
