Jewish genius mathematician Maxi Miriam Cohen (Sean Gullette) is obsessed with revelling in the world of numbers, believing that everything in nature can be explained by numbers. He dives into his research and tries to deduce the mysteries and laws behind all the signs of life through numbers. But the closer he gets to the answer, the more he can't stand the fatal headache. He discovers that the chaotic fluctuations in the stock market over the past decade are actually manipulated by a set of mathematical patterns behind them. At the same time, his research attracts the attention of Wall Street stock market speculators and Jewish mystery cults. In a world between the real and the virtual, Maxi is going mad.
