In the vastness of the universe, a commercial spaceship called the Hunter is on a long journey. The ship carries 40 passengers, including felon Richard Reddick (Vin Diesel). While traveling to the Tangier system, a sudden accident caused the ship to suffer severe damage, air leaks rapidly, and finally forced to land on a hot and desolate planet.
