Renee (Johnny Depp) has an affair with his wife, finds her in bed with another man, and asks for a divorce. However, the shadow of marriage did not restore Rennie. His writing began to fade and he could not find his former creative passion. So he went to a lake house to heal and write. The hut, however, brought him new problems.First, he was annoyed by a visit from a stranger. The man claimed that Renny had copied his work, but renny's explanations failed to convince him. Then Rennie rummaged through cabinets, want to find out the original manuscript, discover the original manuscript is missing mysteriously however. The whole house seemed to be in some kind of dangerous situation, and Renee was scared, but he couldn't figure out why. Is it the ex-wife and her lover? What exactly are they up to? The truth, however, was something Rennie himself couldn't believe.
