Before retiring from the military, Bon Ham (Tommy Lee Jones) was a Special Forces training instructor, and with his excellent hands and extensive experience in wilderness survival, Bon Ham has trained an elite special forces unit that is extremely powerful and destructive in both combat and destruction. Several murders around the city have sent residents into a panic, and the female agent in charge of the case, Abby (Connie Nielsen), approaches Bon Ham, who has long been away from the jungle, to assist her in solving the case.After some series of investigation and tracking, Bon Ham realizes that the murderer's modus operandi and style are very similar to his own, and that means that this bloodthirsty murderer is most likely the student he once taught. Gradually, the figure of a man named Aaron (Benicio Del Toro), who is the murderer himself, surfaces, and he does all this for no other reason than to lure Bon Ham back into the fold.
