Naomi Watts joins Showtime's new drama focusing on former Fox News CEO Roger Ailes as former Fox News host Gretchen Carlson. Russell Crowe will play Ailes. The drama is based on Ailes' biography "The Loudest Voice in the Room," written by Gabriel Sherman, and follows the last decade of Ailes' life before his death in May 2017, including allegations of sexual harassment made against him by Carlson and other women at Fox News, which ultimately led to Ailes' resignation from FoxNews in 2016. Tom McCarthy ([Spotlight]) will co-write the script for the first episode with Sherman.
