A touching film based on a true story, it is perfect for the whole family to watch as parents convey to their children the right attitude towards faith and helping others. The story is about a young man, aged 19, who is assigned by his church to go to an island where no one has heard of him, but it is not until he meets with people from another church that he learns that he has to learn the local Aboriginal language and start a new church there. The young man began his three-year missionary career on the island, during which time he encountered language barriers that forced him to seriously reacquaint himself with the culture of the indigenous people, as well as numerous trials by man-made and natural disasters. In the end, the young man is able to return to his homeland, but for him, the three years he spent with the indigenous people and the habits he gradually built up will never be forgotten.
