Robert A. Durst, a scion of a New York real estate family, was arrested in New Orleans, La. Local law enforcement officials say Durst is suspected of a murder that took place in Los Angeles 15 years ago.In fact, Durst has been in the spotlight for years, with the disappearance of his first wife in 1982 and the murder of a close friend in Los Angeles in 2000 still unsolved.In 2001, a neighbor of Durst's living in Texas was shot and mutilated. This series of mysteries surrounding Durst piqued the interest of the HBO director.
