Acclaimed documentary filmmaker Ken Burns' Vietnam War documentary, which aired on PBS in 2017, features 10 episodes with a total of 18 hours of interviews with nearly 80 firsthand witnesses from all sides, both Americans who fought in and against the war, as well as military and civilians from both South and North Vietnam. The film was produced over a decade, spanning the globe, and features rare and re-digitized video archives, some of the most famous photographs and home movies of the 20th century, as well as historical news footage and secret recordings from within the government.
