He (Nicholas Hoult) is a zombie living in the end of the world who vaguely remembers an "R" in his name. Contrary to popular belief, as a zombie he is able to think and still has some memories of his life. This day, R and zombie friends go out foraging, encounter a group of people from the quarantine area to search for drugs in the contaminated area.
