The American Mafia is deeply rooted and destructive. In order to clear up social ills, the police after years of reconnaissance and preparation, one of the five families of the Lucchese family launched an offensive. Twenty members of the family, including New Jersey boss Jackie DiNosio (Vin Diesel), were arrested and charged with 76 counts. Before the trial, the prosecution secretly negotiated with Jackie, offering him the option of facing up to 30 years in prison or acting as a tainted witness against other family members.
