The story takes place in Singapore in 1942, a peaceful night, a dance with a cheerful atmosphere is in progress. At that moment, a shell shatters the peace of the place and the Japanese army, with fangs and claws bared, sets foot on this peaceful land. Under military arrangements, the families of the Australian and British troops stationed here boarded a ship to return home, not knowing that the ship was headed for hell.The Japanese attacked the ship, carrying women and children, and put them in a concentration camp. Life here was unbearable and everyone was in despair. The isolation, the shortage of supplies, and the near collapse of the spirit led to violence in the camp, and the death of innocent people one by one. At this juncture, a woman named Adria (Glenn Close) steps forward and organizes a choir, whose songs become their only motivation to live.
