Pilot Adam (Arnold Schwarzenegger) has a happy family and an instinctive aversion to genetic technology that defies the laws of nature. Adam's usual job is to send tourists to the snowy peaks with his partner, and this day they serve Chuck (Tony Goldwyn), the owner of a pet cloning company, and his partner takes Adam's place in the pilot but has an accident. ...... Returning home, Adam realizes that there is actually a clone who has taken his place in his birthday party, and is inexplicably horrified. He is pursued by an unknown assassin, and soon realizes that he has become a human clone test subject for the Pet Clone Company, and is in danger of being wiped out as the mother.
