Wiley Wiggins (Wiley Wiggins), a young student, received a prediction as a child from a friend that "dreams are destiny". When he grew up, he drifted off to a strange city. Willy goes from street to street, experiencing all kinds of magical experiences, as if in different dreams. Along the way, he meets everyone from a boatman to a college professor, from a sexy blonde to a man with crazy eyes, from a blond man who sets himself on fire to a gang of four with reggae heads... Everyone chattered on about life, ideals and philosophy. Willy was a patient listener without saying a word.The film was shot by director and screenwriter Richard Linklater in live DV and "animated" with software. Director Steven Soderbergh also appears in the film.
