Peter Garrison (Michael Douglas) is a White House Secret Service agent and the First Lady's personal bodyguard, whose 20-year career as a Secret Service agent and the fact that he took a bullet for the President have made him the undisputed star of the Secret Service. However, Peter never imagined that one day he would be the target of a manhunt. When Peter receives word of a Nazi infiltration in the White House and a plot to assassinate the President, Agent Charlie, the man with the lead, is brutally murdered. The capable agent David (Kiefer Sutherland) and rookie Marlene (Eva Longoria) are put in charge of the case and all the agents are given a lie detector test, but Peter fails, and rumors begin to circulate about his affair with the First Lady, and by mistake, Peter is believed to be the premeditated assassin. But while everyone is trying to hunt Peter down, the real killer is closing in on the President. In order to protect the President, Peter, on the run, has to convince David and Marlene to work together to find the killer in order to turn the situation around. ......
